Race

Race is each of the major divisions of humankind, having distinct physical/biological characteristics.

Peers

       Peers consist of people of the same age, status, or ability as someone else. These are some of my dance family who are also my peers.

Social Stratification

     Social Stratification is a system by which society ranks certain people in a different level of hierarchy.

Nuclear

Nuclear family consists of a father, a mother, and their biological children just as this photo shows.

Media

     Media is what is what is used for mass production such as television, the news, the newspaper, television, and the radio.

Emotion Work

     Emotion work is the act of trying to change an emotion or quality. As you can see, Monica is trying not to kill someone at work and so for that sake she is trying to control her quality of emotion.

Role-Taking Emotions

     In this photo, a mother feels sympathy for her crying daughter in which she holds in her arms. This is what you would call role-taking emotions, or when we respond to a persons point of view with feelings like sympathy, embarrassment, etc.
